---> Legion-Gape Interludethumb|240x240pxthumb|115x115pxThe First Valkyrian Period is a period of 2b2t history named after Valkyria, the biggest group at the time. Valkyria was founded when a few small groups merged together to build a city named Valkyria.

This Era marks when 2b2t was also in an era of stagnation which created a sort of peace on the server due to the lack of activity and low amount of players; except for the 2 Spawn Incursions, the second used to prevent players from IGN and Reddit from invading the server.

Valkyria then wanted to make another base called Asgard, but the plans were cancelled because Asgard was griefed before it was finished. This grief caused the end of the First Valkyrian Era.

Major Events

• The End was re-enabled during this time period and the Ender Dragon was slain in May of 2013
• 1.4.7 Dupe May of 2013
• This Era was when the first two spawn incursions occurred. (See more Spawn Incursions)
• A then minor group, called N-War, was created in this period. It started as a joke with reference to the anti vietnam-war in the 60s & 70s. It started becoming more and more signifcant as the spawn incursions became more frequent and longer. This group was not known to most (except a selected few who was affiliated with the then leaders) as they do not wish to promote the group to prevent insiding & hatred from certain groups. Generally, they would operate in the shadows, saving as many lives as possible from the sidelines without facing the armies. They’re also notorious for their arrow-spams when encountered. It was rumored that 3 of them had actually held off one of the spawn incursions for an hour.
• NFE is griefed a second time during this Era, in October of 2013
• 2k2k is buried under lavacasts, again
• Second Backdoor occurs in December 2013 (Pyrobyte and iTristan)
